Support Gravel

Support Gravels are clean, washed and screened to remove the majority of fines, silts and clay particles.

The gravel will be from a natural uncrushed source with sub-angular to rounded particle shape. These support gravels have been supplied to water filtration plants throughout Ireland. They are also commonly used in reed bed filters.

The gravel will be resistant to degradation during normal handling, placing and commissioning works.
